Roche Molecular Systems, Pleasanton, CA. – Marley series 15 cooling tower 2x NC-756 ammonia towers with Vilter chillers (2x 400 ton & 1x 800 ton). DWT replaced chemical and salt softening system with electrochemical system in Jan 2017. Regardless of excellent management of salt softener, which was already achieving in excess of 6 cycles, the DWT system provided significant improvement in operation and over 20 cycles, resulting in a 65% savings in blowdown water.
